The Steel Challenge match is speed shooting steel targets with a pistol. Each stage has 5 steel targets, a mixture of 10”round, 12”round and 18”x24” rectangle steel target plates.

Leon County Sheriff’s Explorers
The Explorer Program was initially established by a group of Sheriff’s with the goal of getting youth interested in the law enforcement profession. The Explorer Post is administered by the Sheriff’s Office and chartered through Boy Scouts of America and the Florida Sheriff’s Explorer Association (FSEA). Tallahassee Rifle & Pistol Club is proud to partner with the Leon County Sheriff’s Office to provide support and training assistance for the Explorer Program.
